Fever - Episode 4

Sorry, I am slow on posting these. A little news first. Things are looking pretty positive for our favorite man. Sounds like Alex's presentation to the big guys went well and now the second step is at hand. He's not saying anything definitive yet and I don't blame him. I am very superstitious too, so we will just sit back and say our prayers and hope that they get their pilot shot and it is a big success. We want him back on the air with a #1 hit by next year. I will wait, and wait, and wait. Luckily he has lots of opportunities so they know that they have a talent on their hands and they are not going to let loose of him easily. Go Alex, we are rootin' for ya'!!

Fever - OK, this is probably my favorite episode of them all. I love Out of the Past but hated Lee Jay, although he was a necessary evil for that episode. Fever has so much Mick in it. He was so adorable through the whole thing and you could see his vulnerable side and the vampire lust come out in him. He shows off his smarts to Josh which intimidates the poor man even more than he was before. He basically solves the case by himself against an arms dealer. It was everybody else getting involved that almost got him killed. What part of "I work alone" don't they get?

When he was in that nasty bathroom in that seedy run down motel I was glue to the set (OK, I was glued to set through the whole show) but he is so sexy when he was wet and he was wet the entire time he was in that bathroom. There were a few things that were comical about this part and one being that the old motel had a working ice machine. Some really major guffaws in the storyline. After all, he is a vampire, so I don't see anything so bad about an abandoned motel with a working ice machine in the middle of the desert. OK, the ice looked like tofu floating in the bathtub, we all knew it but no one said anything because the man is wet and topless in a bathtub for crying out loud! What more do you want? I know he could have been pantless but this is prime time on CBS, OK? That was never going to happen. Mick kind of looked like a Japanese soup with little chunks of tofu floating in it, but I would proudly serve him on my dinner table any day!

We do know that he looks HOT in a baseball cap. We have already established that for the majority of the show he was wet!! Who could forget him tearing his shirt off and falling into the bath water? OK we have verified that the man is totally HOT no matter what he is or is not wearing and whether or not he has a hat on or if he is walking, driving or bathing. The man is HOT - did I say this show was called Fever, now we know why!!

Also we saw Beth bawling her eyes out when she thought he was dead. I was waiting for her to scratch Josh's eyes out but instead she went home and broke down. I would have opted to scratch out Josh's eyes if it had been me. We knew then that she loved her vampire. (Who wouldn't? He's gorgeous and smart and brave!) So when she finds out that he is alive but barely, it is Beth to the rescue. One of the best scenes ever between the two of them is when she offers her blood and he finally accepts after a little bit of convincing. Come on Mick, you know you aren't going to die if there might be a chance that you might get the girl in the end. No one is going to let you die over a little vein tapping. I love how she stuck her neck out there, I mean she literally stuck her neck out there for him. I was at home on the couch offering mine to him too! He politely grabbed her arm and warned her "At some point you are going to have to stop me." Whoa!! The icy blue eyes and the fangs a full mast and he chomped down for a little desert snack. Of course, Beth will remind him of this at a later date. Then you see him at the FOS and Beth is trying to get him to open up the door. He just can't do it. He swears it has to end but we all knew better, it was just beginning!! Bravo!! Good episode!!! YaY!!

Doctor Feelgood - Episode 3

This was the episode that Beth and Mick deal with one another knowing the truth about what Mick really is. He revealed a little about what happens in the vampire community to Beth but not too much about his personal experience. He has opened up to her enough that she knows that he must trust her with his secret. Now she has to prove to him that he can trust her to keep the secret and still be a reporter. Also we get a glimpse into how Mick was turned by Coraline on their wedding night. We are introduced to the cleaners and learn a little bit more about what vampires can or cannot do.

Some classic lines were made in this one too. One of my favorites is when Mick and Beth go to the rogue vampire's home and when she follows him in, he turns to her and says "And staying in the car means??? she follows up with "Oh and that worked out so well last time!" referring to the incident where LeeJay nearly torched Mick in Out of the Past before Beth came in and shot him.

He was so handsome in this episode, (OK, he is handsome in all of them but there was something so handsome about him in this particular episode) One of the little things that I noticed in this one that I just loved is how he jumps up on the wall when he is chasing the rogue Dr. vampire. I was impressed with that because Alex does most of his own stunts and I thought that was pretty slick.

So anyway, in the end he incinerates the rogue and does not let Beth be a part of this. He goes by to let Josef know what he has done. Next, he stops by Beth's to tell her the whole story of how he was turned.

Now she knows the whole story and they can get on with their little dance for romance that they do so well together. He lays his hand on hers at the door and this is really the first time that he initiates any physical contact since Beth is usually the one who does that.

Dr. Feelgood sets us up for one of the best episodes and one of my favorites next time. So as Alex/Mick says: Stayed tuned for scenes for the next Moonlight. (His voice sends shivers down my spine)

Out of the Past - Epidsode 2

Sorry for the long absence, real life stepped in and I had to deal with that. Alex understands, he is such a gentleman. I just hope this makes sense, I am on some really good pain killers.

Today we are going to discuss Out of the Past. I think this is one of the most important episodes of the series. It is where you find out a little about Mick's history and of course it is when Beth finds out that Mick is a vampire. That scene where he is sitting there jerking and begging her now to look at him is one of the best bits of acting I have ever seen him do. This man is a born thespian.

My favorite part of the movie didn't last too long and that was the Red freshie party. Oh My Oh My was that fun. I have written a series of fan fics on that one particular scene. I will never listen to Duran Duran's Hungry Like a Wolf without thinking about Mick choosing Red. So sexy! Oh and Beth saved Mick's life this time. You start to really see the relationship between them form and it is adorable. Also Josef and Mick's relationship is more defined. Great music throughout this episode too. A must see over and over again.

No Such Thing as Vampires

OK, I am sort of feeling a little nostalgic for my Moonlight and after hearing that again the DVD set may or may not be coming out in the US market. Thank you Mr. Silver for all of your nonsense. That is a fine way to treat all the loyal fans of your show. You led us to believe that you might shop the show and now we find out that you wanted to massacre the original concept of a wonderfully produced nior filmed private eye/romantic hero vampire show and turn it into a 3 ring circus with werewolves, secret watchers and battles in the streets of LA. I am surprised you didn't add circus clowns and trained seals too. Now we know the real reason why CBS cancelled it, and you wouldn't budge on what you planned plus you wanted more money. When I think of that poor cast and all the work that they did, especially our Alex trying to keep the show a float.........well it makes my blood boil. Shame on you. Anyway enough of that. We are going to go through each of the shows and reminisce about each one. Each show had something special and this was one of my favorites for a lot of reasons but especially since it is the first time I saw Alex and fell madly and deeply in lust with him. I remember thinking any guy that looks this good is worth a look and see and boy was I glad I looked and see'd. I haven't stopped since!

Of course there was the interview, I loved the interview! He was so adorable and we got a little glimpse of what was to come. Then there was the first time Beth and Mick saw each other in person. I love to watch Alex's mouth move, I know I am weird but those little things are what I love so much about him. When he says there are no such thing as vampires, I have to stop it and play it over again just to watch the way he forms his words. The calm way he says ouch after Beth conks him in the head with a vase, that was adorable. The way he jumps down the stairs and attacks the professor and says "I know she was here, I can smell her on you." So many great lines. I loved the interaction between Mick and Josef. Josef was threatening to cut a guy's heart out on the phone and the next minute he is affectionately straightening Mick's lapel. So many adorable moments. I have heard a few say that NSTAV was not well done and was sort of amaturish but I disagree. I thought it had a lot of character and charm and I wouldn't have changed a thing. except to make it longer, I was so sad when it was over. Who could forget those red silk pajama bottoms and of course the very end when he wraps those wonderful muscled arms around Beth in such a protective but guarded way. Perfect and touching. Love love love this episode!! *sigh*

Well, if celebrating Alex's birthday and getting the blog from him wasn't enough.........now we have a 30 minute interview with Shelby the 10 year old wonder kid! This girl was as savvy as they get for a 10 year old and she hit the ball clean out of the park with this interview. She even frosted James Hibberd and put a green stripe down his back. He actually was whining about the fact that she got to interview him and he never has. That made me laugh. Shelby did the interview for Jericho for Kids and she did an excellent job. Here is what he wrote. Does he sound jealous?

Second, the site is sending "Jericho" DVDs to troops in Iraq? I don't ... really? Third, the kid just interviewed Alex O'Loughlin for the site? Okay, O'Loughlin has ... absolutely nothing to do with "Jericho," but ... that's pretty darn impressive none the less (I've written a half dozen posts on "Moonlight" and never interviewed O'Loughlin). And Shelby, it should be noted, asks better questions than some TV critics. Seems O'Loughlin wanted to be a fighter pilot when he grew up."

She did this for a good cause and she was able to use her 10 year old charm to get Alex to talk about things that he is very protective about normally. There is a lot to this interview and I promise you that you will go away with a good feeling. He is such a wonderful person and I am more in love with him now than ever. Alex O'Loughlin ~ A Class Act

I have said this time and again and I am far from alone in my opinion that Alex is one of the nicest guys around. He deserves every opportunity at success that there could possibly be for him. Not only is he "uber" talented and "uber" good looking but he is so wonderfully thoughtful and appreciative of his fans. He still cannot believe that there is anyone out there that could possibly be interested in his career. What a guy! Well obviously you know that yesterday was his birthday and sure as could be, the first thing this morning here comes a thank-you note from him on My Space thanking all of us for our thoughtfulness and well wishes. Wasn't that sweet. Here is what the letter said. God Bless this man. I have been walking on air all day just thinking about how thrilled he must have been to see all of his cards, letters, e mails, donations in his name to the ARC Blood Bank and gifts he received.

Oh Alex if you only knew how much you are loved and how much enjoyment and pleasure you have given to so many. We all love you more than you will ever know.

Well, we need an Alex fix so that means more pretty pictures of our man. God got it right when he made Alex. What more can I say.

Dear Family, Friends and Fans.Hi there all!I would like to preface by thanking everybody who has been involved with the various American Red Cross events recently, and to those of you who have helped make the actual blood drives happen, congratulations and THANK YOU!!!The American Red Cross is such a terrific and important organization that saves many lives every year and I am very proud to be associated in any way I can.As you know yesterday was my birthday and thanks to everybody around me I had a really great day. In fact it was amazing. Another year older, but not necessarily wiser! To answer some of your questions and just so the record is straight I am now 32, having been born in 1976 contrary to what other sources may tell us, which makes me year of the Dragon in Chinese astrology.Never before have i received anything like the volume of kindness that i received this year. I have been inundated with messages, cards and gifts from so many of you and I am trying to get back to you one by one but it will take me a while so I really appreciate everyone's patience.It's funny. Instead of Mom, Dad, Bro, Sis, Nan & Gramps etc... I now have 10,000 "thank you" letters to write!! Whoa LOL ;)As you know I have now officially signed back with the CBS family for a new show opportunity. We are currently in development of a number of new ideas and this will keep us busy through till the end of the year. I know this isn't much information but I'm under contract again and I'm afraid it's all I can give you right now.Anyway, I just wanted to touch base with you all quickly on my way to work and say thank you for making yesterday great. Aug 24, 1976 an angel was born and his name is Alexander O'Loughlin (O'Lachlan) I want to thank his mom for that. Who would of thought that one man could cause this sort of corruption in the hearts and minds of millions of women of all ages. He has got "IT" and "IT" is very very very good!! So let's celebrate his birthday with all the things he loves. I sent him some virtual Cuban cigars. I hope he likes them. I would like to have given him other things but............well you know what that would be. It would be more of a gift for me anyway! LOL!!

Let's just admire the beauty of Alex and wish him the best year ever. I hope to see him very very very soon. Don't you? I've got it bad and that is soooo good!

Just Waiting......Trying to be Patient......For Alex

I cannot wait much longer. I want to see his darling face on my TV screen soon. He is so addicting and I am so addicted to him. Knowing what a talented and dedicated actor he is I can bet the farm (not that I have one but if I did.........I'd bet it!) that he will have a role that is so suited for him. We will all be spellbound and he will have us eating out of his hand. I check the trades every day to see if there is any word on anything yet but I can bet that Mark Gordon and Alex will both be working on a role that is perfect for him. So until then I have his movies and the reruns of Moonlight and the Shield to go back a ogle at the most beautiful man in the world. Care to join me?

Good News!!!! Alex is Back!!

Our Alex is going to be back on our TV screens and according to some websites as soon as this fall. He got a sweet deal with CBS and they are going to give him some creative control as well and a 1 year contract with Mark Gordon who is a successful producer or many shows including Gray's Anatomy. So we will get our Alex back and he will be in a lead role. Is there any other role for him other than the lead???? ....................I think NOT! Look at this face, does it get any better than this? No it doesn't! Let's do the happy dance!

We will all miss Moonlight but if we can get Alex back on TV I don't care what he does just so I can see him do his magic and he does it OH SO WELL! Am I "fancentric" , you better believe I am! I have never made any bones about it! I laid eyes on him the first night Moonlight aired and I have been under the AOL spell ever since. Did I love the show and the rest of the cast? You bet I did but Alex has been and will always be the draw for me. He was Moonlight and he will be whatever show they star him in. He is that much of a draw. Poor Alex!!! I have been neglecting him

I have been so busy with other things that I have not changed Alex for almost a week. Or maybe longer..........Yikes. Well, he is such a wonderful man that I know he understands. I miss him so much and I am just so frustrated not to hear any news on him. They are keeping everything hush hush but I have a feeling we will be hearing something soon. Got word that the Moonlight DVD's will be out sometime in early 2009. I was a little disappointed but I am hoping that they have lots of extras on the DVD's I will be looking forward to them.

White Out the movie is being pushed back until April 2009 so that was another heart breaker. Don't these people understand how much we love our Alex and need to see him in something new??? Well I never get tired of looking at him no matter what. So I am just going to let you gaze on the wonders of Alex.

Will Bryant - Breathtaking Will

I love love love this movie. I love the love story, the fact that it is a true story is amazing. It was a well written, beautifully filmed and the acting was superb. I really think that this is one of Alex best roles. He was a natural in it.

I also think he was at his most handsome. What a perfect looking man! Well, Alex is just perfect no matter what. So I am going to make you stare at Will Bryant and you will like it!!

I bet I don't have to make you do it very hard, do I?

This man could be a big industry all to himself. I just bought a science fiction magazine; not because I am a science fiction fanatic, I am not. I don't have anything against it and some of it is just great but that is not why I spent $10.00 on a magazine from across the pond. There was an article and pictures of Alex O'Loughlin. I think I am seriously addicted to him. Think..............OK, let me re-word that...................I know it; I am seriously addicted to Alex O'Loughlin. It is sort of obvious, isn't it? Come on, you know the feeling, otherwise why would you be in this blog reading this? OK, 'nuff said.

He has some kind of weird pheromone or something. It seems to come across the film and audio. I get squishy just hearing his voice. I and millions of other otherwise reasonably logical women. WTF???

Let's face it, there are lots of good looking actors out there. Many that I have ogled and admired but never in my entire life, including the age where most girls have "crushes" did I ever become so obsessed and addicted to any actor, singer or whatever. It borders on psychotic. I don't want to be cured, I just want to figure out why. I have some good theories but all of the defy logical explanation. So I am just lost in Alexland with a whole bunch of you other women. I just want to see him back on TV, I don't care if he gets a program on the cooking channel. I just want to see him and listen to him speak. Please God, bring back Alex. I promise to be good, just bring him back so I can have my fix. I am begging you! Amen.

Shady Character

Well, since Mick has to protect himself from the sun he is always in shades when he is outside. No self respecting vampire is going to be caught outside during the day without them. He makes shades look so much better than anyone else. Of course he makes everything so much better. I love his beautiful eyes but he does look very handsome incognito. I salute Alex/Mick and his shady ways!! Short and sweet tonight!

Kissing Alex

Well, I probably don't have to ask this but I will anyway. Have you ever fantasized about kissing Alex? See, I told you that question was silly. Of course you have, anyone who has ogled this man has thought about it. He brings it out in all women of all ages. I have seen dignified professional news women puddle to the ground while they are talking to him. It is sometimes pathetic and what is so adorable about it is he knows it but still doesn't quite understand it. He is so aware they are flirting with him and he just maintains this laid back persona that is just too cool. Ah, our darling, darling Alex. He has those kissable lips and those gorgeous eyes. It would be so hard to stand face to face with him and not just want to throw your arms around him and hug and kiss him.

Would you, rather kiss Mick, Jack,Will Bryant, Michael Carter, Kevin Hyatt or just Alex himself? Well, I would kiss them all but of all the characters I think it would have to be Will. He loved Mary so much that he put himself through hell just to be with her. I think that is sexy and he was sexy. But they are all kissable, yes even Michael, as long as he didn't offer me a hamburger.

Well, here is to kissing Alex and I am envious to the ones he has already kissed.

Rumors are Flying/ Is Alex CSI-LV bound?

The rumors are hot and heavy now about Alex going to CSI. I know a lot of Moonlight fans are upset and having a fit over it but I felt that this was going to happen when he released his blog a couple of weeks ago. It was like he already knew that he was coming back but Moonlight wasn't going to be in his immediate future.

Personally, I am and always will be an Alex fan first and foremost. I could refer to the term Alex whore and it wouldn't be far off the mark. I will watch, read and look at anything that has him or any part of him on it or in it. The mere mention of his name can send me into a frenzy. I have never been star stuck before but I sure am now. I sometimes think I am nuts but, I don't even care anymore. He is captivating and I know I am not the only one that feels this way. This man is hot and Nina Tassler knows it too and she has known it from the beginning. The camera loves this man. It is so seldom you will find an actor or actress that the camera loves no matter what. Only a handful through the years have this effect on the masses and Alex is one of them. This man is going to be big one of these days. We are going to see him in a lot of movies someday. He is an actor's actor.

I am one of those who although I loved Moonlight and was devastated at losing it, my devastation was in not being able to see Alex every week. I would prefer Moonlight but since that ain't gonna happen right away I want to see him on a weekly basis. I have always loved CSI-LV, it is the only CSI that I watched faithfully and I have been a huge fan of William Peterson. I loved that secretive nerdy quality he has. I knew that he was getting ready to leave the show and I was sad about it but he has been on for 9 years now. Alex is the answer to Grissom leaving, the only way I can accept Grissom leaving would be for Alex to step in. I believe that CSI is as stable as Law & Order and Alex is just what CSI needs to give them a shot in the arm. He is gorgeous to look at and the man can act. He will have some of the best writers in the biz and he will build up a wonderful character. I can totally see this happening. I think Nina saw it too and probably had Alex in her cross hairs from the beginning for this role. No announcement yet but I have a feeling you will be hearing something by next week. They let this leak out and the rest cannot be far behind. We shall see.

I got these great gif files off of the MoonlightLine forum. Thanks for the great movement. This guy can act, don't believe me look at the first one where he plays Michael Carter in Feed. He turns from sweet and playful to evil in 10 seconds flat. Amazing!! One of the best scenes in the movie.

Addicted to All Things Alex

I was reading a thread on MLL tonight and it was a newer member of the tribe. She was worried about her addiction to Moonlight. She can't seem to get enough of it and she is concerned about when it will go away. Immediately 10 people replied all saying basically the same thing. We are all addicted to Moonlight or in my case my obsession has gone into full blown addiction to Alex. I don't care what it is, if it has Alex in it, I will watch it, save it, buy it and adore it. I have never felt this way about anything or anybody in my life like I have this man. I wish there was a way to explain it but I don't think there is any logical reasoning for it.

These women have families that think they are insane. Mine does too; I try to hide it from them but they know, so do my co-workers and friends. Some I have pulled down the rat hole with me but most look at me with a pitiful look as if I have lost my mind. Maybe I have and I really don't care.

I am a reasonable person, but not when it comes to Alex. I am not one of those crazy stalker types. I know that I am never going to hunt him down and tell him that the Gods think we should be together for all eternity. It is not that kind of obsession. He is young enough to be my son in fact he is 3 years younger than my son. It is like he has awakened something inside of me that I thought went away a long time ago. A look back at my forgotten youth.

Anyway, I am addicted to all things Alex and I don't give a damn anymore. He is wonderful to look at and I just adore him. I just wish that I could see him on something every week. I am sure that CBS ripping him out from under us like they did has a big part of this. I was just so happy to have him to myself every Friday night. I would record it and then watch it a couple of times during the week and then look forward to another Friday night again. If they would just put Moonlight back on the air I am sure my world would settle back down again to something normal. We shall see..............we shall see.

Another Snark - I Just Couldn't Help Myself

I had so much fun making the first one that I had to do it again. This time it is about that damn CBS eye that is in every Moonlight screencap.

One of the other members of MLL made up a great on where Mick moons the eye. It was hilarious so I had to make up a snark about the eye. I saw these screencaps and knew exactly what I wanted to do.

Enjoy, and I hope they make you laugh. I love making fun of Mick's seriousness. He is always so intense. Even Alex had said in an interview that when he would get the scripts, some of then had Mick doing so many heroic things that he said out loud. Come on Mick, why don't you give it a rest already. Have you ever just thought about going on a holiday and just sitting in a shack and do nothing for about 8 days? It was so funny.

Naturally Mick would have a cool but conservative car. What could be cooler than a vintage Mercedes. I used to date a guy who had the same kind of car as Mick. His was sort a a cadet blue with a cream top. Mick's is black with a camel tan top. I appears to be the exact same model and year, a 500 series 1956 or 57. Arvin (my old boyfriend) was a good looking guy too. Yeah, he was as good looking as Alex (could that be possible???) but he was really handsome and I dumped him. Call me crazy! It won't be the first time. But I digress..........I would never dump Alex/Mick, I have learned my lesson!! Even without the cool car!

Those cars were built to last a long long time. Since Mick is nearing 90, it is only fitting that he would have a car that he could relate to back in the 50's. It would have been another way for him to keep that connection to his human past.

Well, we are doing pictures of Mick in his cool car. It may not be as flashy as Josef's red Ferrari but that is so Josef and the 'Cedes is so Mick. He looks so good in this car!

On Moonlightline.com they have a thread that they call Sharing the Snarkiness in reference to Josef and his wonderful snarky remarks. I am forever dedicated to my Mick but Josef is just what Mick needs in his life to keep him from getting too serious. When things are getting a little too intense with Beth, you can always rely on Josef throwing in a few one liners for comedic relief. I always find that is such a nice way to break the tension.
I tend to be a bit of a snarker myself, it is my way of relieving a tense situation. I love one liners and consider Johnny Carson as the master of the comedic one liner. The man was a genius at delivering a sarcastic remark with perfect timing and finesse. Josef (Jason) has that edge and timing. I don't know whether the writers saw that and used it or it just sort of happened. It is not something you can just do, you have to be blessed with that timing. I like sarcastic humor, I love Brit/Aussie/Kiwi humor. It always has an edginess to it and a little read between the lines type of insinuation.
So anyway, I decided today to try to make up some snarks on there and ended up making a whole scenario of Josef and Mick: The Adventures of Male Underwear Models It was fun to do. I would love to write for a comedy show, I think that would be so much fun!
Anyway this is going to take up two blogs so I will sort of do this backwards. I will publish the first five last and the last 5 first so they will be in order. Bare with me on this one folks! Those of you who are signed up for blog notices look for the second one shortly.

That Beautiful Face - Alex

Not much to say tonight. I have been sorting thru pictures thinking about what I wanted to write about and I just kept stopping to look at that beautiful face. He has the most expressive face, from those gorgeous eyes to that sexy mouth. There is just not anything about this man that is not a pleasure to gaze at.

According to the people that have met him in person, he is just a beautiful in real life as he is in his pictures and films. He is beautiful on the outside and the inside too.

So, I want to keep this short and sweet and just look at that adorable face. Ahhhh, sheer heaven.

I'll Take the Red - Out of the Past

One of the hottest scenes in Moonlight for me was the scene I like to call the Red Freshie Party. It was Mick and Josef at a party and the whole background of the room was illuminated in red. Mick had on an off-white suit and he was sitting with his long legs sort of spread out in a chair. Josef is standing next to him in a silk smoking jacket. The song that was playing was Duran Duran's Hungry Like a Wolf. You wouldn't take it for anything but an 80's style mingle party until Mick flashes a smile and those fangs show up. He and Josef were at a freshie party!

Josef snapped his fingers and two very attractive women, one redhead and one blond, immediately come over to where Mick and Josef are and Josef turns to Mick and asks "Red or White?" Mick, narrows his eyes, studying the women and with a slow breathy reply says; "I will take the red." He reaches up for her and she sits down on his lap and he pulls her to him and bites down on her neck. Josef takes takes the blond and does the same thing. OMG!! That was so sexy! Of course the phone rings and the butler has to interrupt Josef. Josef snaps at him and says, "I told you! Not while I am eating!" You know that was a moment for a Josef one liner. The phone call is Mick's answering service with an important call so Josef comes to get him. He gently lays his Red freshie back on the chair as she has passed out and takes the call. End of the scene. Darn it!

I would have loved to have seen what went on after refreshments were served. As much as I adore the love story between Mick and Beth, I would have loved to see Mick and Josef go back to the wilder days when they were both players.

Anyway, that was a great scene and I cannot imagine any girl turning down a vampire that looked like that! Wow! I love that scene!

P.S. We haven't finished fighting for our Moonlight. We understand that Alex needs to move forward, in fact it is vital that he does but we can still campaign to get our show back on the air. I am certain if we do get it back, he will be ready and willing to give us more Mick St John. Don't give up the fight but do support Alex in anything that he may appear in.

Alex Has Spoken - We Will Support Him

Well, Alex has spoken and I have been waiting for this letter to arrive. He is ready to move on and I am sure that we all support him in doing so. He fought so hard for Moonlight but you cannot expect him to hang onto something that is not at this time realistic for his aspirations. The man needs to eat and also strike while the iron is hot. Hollywood is a fickle town and out of sight, out of mind is the key factor in getting roles. He needs to be out there so we can look upon that lovely frame and face of his.

OK, that does not mean that you have to give up the fight for Moonlight. I am 1000% positive that if the chance comes up that there is a return of the series in the future or a possible mini series or movie that Alex will jump at the chance to do it. He put his whole heart and soul into playing Mick St. John and I doubt if he would ever pass up the chance to play him again.

When is the key question, it could be months from now, it could be years from now. We have no way of knowing. He needs to get out there and make us swoon. So no matter what he ends up doing, we will be there in mass to cheer him on as he pushes that star of his a little higher in the Hollywood sky. He deserves it, every bit of it. I have a strange feeling that we will be seeing him very soon in another series. I will lay money on it. It won't matter what he plays, you know it will be good. Alex doesn't do anything mediocre.

So, let's wish him all the best wishes that this lovely man deserves. You don't have to give up fighting for Moonlight but just know that Alex needs to move his career along.

Family and Friends
Dear Family, Friends and wonderful fans. I have recently been going through a lot of mail from you guys and I wanted to take this opportunity to say a few things. First, I would like to preface by appologizing for any late replies to mail I have been sent. I try to get to it all asap but sometimes it goes through a number of different channels before I even see it and time can slip away. But the main reason for me writing is that I have found myself totally overwhelmed at the amount of support you have all been giving me in this time. Its true, to have something you put your heart into taken away can be difficult, painful and sometimes confusing. In this instance all of the above. But never do you expect to receive anything like the amount of cards, letters and notes of appreciation and love that I have recently. It has been awesome!Thank you all so very much. Only too well do I understand the attachment so many of you had to Moonlight and to Mick, Beth, Josef and the gang but now that they have been laid to rest I can only hope you will all follow me into my next exciting adventure, whatever that may be. We all fought so hard. We all worked so hard. I guess some things are simply out of our hands. Boys Will Be Boys - Forever!

Alex does a lot of charity functions and being a celebrity, that is just part of the job. I believe this was for a children's charity and I know Toys for Tots was represented by the Moonlight fans. Leeser from MoonlightLine happened to be at this function and told the cutest story about him. There were quite a few celebs at this indoor go cart track and Alex was among them.

Leeser said that they introduced the woman who stars in Cold Case Files and she got a nice round of applause, and then a few other actors on other TV shows. But, when it came to them announcing Alex O'Loughlin the crowd broke into a thunderous roar of cheers and applause.

He was totally amazed and surprised. Alex asked her what they were cheering about. Leeser told him that it was all for him. He was humbled and confused as to why. Well, you can tell he hasn't looked in a mirror lately, has he? Typical Alex reaction. He can never quite figure out the fame thing yet. That is good, I hope he stays that way, it is part of his charm.

Just goes to show you what a nice guy he is. We already knew that about him. He may be easy on the eyes but it is his sweet nature and good sense of humor that keeps up coming back for more.

I loved these pictures of him because no matter that he is 6'2" and 32 years old, he is still a great big over grown kid. These pictures prove it. You can't take the boy out of the man. They are perpetual boys for their entire lives. Go speed racer, go!

Also, these are candid shots, no make up on this guy, and he is still so pretty to look at. He can ride in my go cart any old time!

Henley Fever

Because of Mick St. John there are a lot of fashion crazes going on. Long coats, sideburns, modified shag mullets, tight jeans, big chunky belt buckles, big chunky wristwatches, leather jackets and sport coats, silk pj bottoms, chunky white gold jewelry. Everything this man puts on looks so good. But the article of clothing that so identifies him is the Henley T-shirt. I always loved Henleys when I was younger and used to love to wear them to sleep in as well as just kicking around. The button neckline was so comfy and loose, compared to some T's that come a little too close to my neck. I even have a few night shirts from long ago that are still in one piece that I pull out once in a while to wear. Well, they have taken on a whole new meaning now. I will never look at a Henley T without thinking about Alex and Mick St. John.
When he rips off the Henley in Fever, I nearly fainted. What a sight that was! He has had his Henley staked, shot with bullets, stabbed with knives and they must spend a fortune in Henleys for Mick. He is a sharp dresser and always has a nice clean tight Henley on for the next shot. My heart just skips a beat when he walks into a scene with a clean form fitting Henley, a tight pair of jeans and one of those chunky belt buckles on. Can you hear me sigh?
So today I am dedicating this blog to Mick and the Henley. May we see both of them together for a long time. Cheers!

A Tour of Our Favorite Man

Happy 4th of July Alex fans!
In celebration of Independence Day, I say we take a look at our adorable and beloved Alex from Head to Toe. He is worth the grand tour. Has anyone seen anything on this man that is not perfect?
He has beautiful curly brown hair, unbelievably beautiful blueish/greenish/hazel eyes that are rimmed with those long curly lashes. A slender aquiline nose of a Greek god, those full pouty well shaped lips with the sweet indenture just below the bottom lip, that strong masculine chin that has a cleft and a dimple. He always has a 5:00 shadow because he is so hairy and sooooo manly! We have not gotten past the face yet and he already sounds made up and straight out of a romance novel. Fabio, even in his younger days could not hold a candle to Alex.
Now we get to the body and oh what a body it is!! This man is what the "V" is all about. He has a strong muscular neck that is attached to the most perfect broad shoulders. Then we have the pecs, those wonderful bulging fur covered pecs that match the muscular arms and well formed back. Next, we come to one of my favorite parts of him (hey, I have lots of favorites but this is just my "thing") Those beautiful hands. They are expressive and large, with long, graceful fingers and say so much about this man. OK, that was my indulgence, now back to his torso and that tight 6 pack set of abs he possesses which sports the cutest little navel and a slender tight waist.
Now we are getting to the danger zone! (Can you hear the song in your head?) Oh my, unless you blind or just totally not breathing, you cannot miss the "package". This man was standing at the head of the male endowment line. He got his fair share and then somebody else's too. I am sure that more than a few of us have had some sleepless nights just thinking about Moose. (Yeah, I can say it here, this is my blog, remember?
Now let's turn our sweet baby around and take a look at the finest ass that ever walked the earth. Perfect in every way! This is the master mold for a male butt.
Curved and muscular, not too small and not too big with the little dents on the sides of his glutes. Oh my, not a flaw on that cute little posterior and of course he has it accented by that magnificent, very recognizable tramp stamp that manages to come to a point right at the very top of where those sweet little cheeks meet. What a treat. I could stare at this for days.
Next we have the thighs, those furry, strong, muscular thighs. No chicken legs here, this man has the pumped thighs and the calves match. Of course our Alex even has perfect feet. Long feet perfectly shaped, with beautiful straight toes.
Seriously, did God just put him here so we could see what His handiwork is capable of? I think He must have. Well, I am a believer, for sure! This is a gift from God ladies. I thank Him every day for our beloved Alex.
So enjoy your day and enjoy our day trip of Alex. I shall see you back here tomorrow, same Alex place, same Alex channel.
Now go light a sparkler for our sweetie. He so deserves it!

The Shield, Gritty, Gripping and Gorgeous Alex

The Shield is a good dramatic series. Not for people that insist that all things work out in the end. Seldom does anything in this show end with a heartwarming note. It is dark, stark and very real. The acting is very good and the characters have more warts than Witch Hazel.

One of the shining bright parts about this show was the day that Detective Kevin Hiatt (our beloved Alex) walked into the barn. He was a former FBI agent turned special forces cop in LA. He was brought in to take over from Michael Chiklas' role of head of the special forces which was not a good place to be. He quickly makes his mark as one of the guys but he is determined to play by the rules. He soon finds out to keep up with this group of social rejects, it is next near to impossible. Hiatt spends a lot of his time riding the fence but always tends to fall back on the good side. You found yourself cheering on his righteousness but knowing that this probably was not the job for him.

On the 9th episode, Recoil, is the most unbelievable scene and inevitably Kevin's swan song. He and a subordinate have a little session on a chair that will leave you gap jawed and spellbound. It is worth watching the whole series just to get to this part. My God, every woman in America was wishing they were on that man sitting on that chair. It had to have been one of the most steamy clips on TV and it only lasted only 29 seconds. You can see it over on the right side of this blog. Just click on the chair picture. My heart starts racing just thinking about it. Wow!

Fortunately he is only in one more episode because by this time, Alex was hired to play our beloved Mick St. John for Moonlight. So don't feel too bad that he leaves the show after the next episode. He went on to capture even more hearts as our Mick. He was so sexy and cute as Kevin Hiatt and we will always have the chair.

Alex is All Wet

There is something so sexy about somebody getting wet and especially Alex. He compliments water and water compliments him. He looks good any which way you put him but I do like to see him get wet. Just sort of gets me all squishy inside. Since it was really warm out today, let's cool Alex down even if it does heat us a bit! Anything for our Alex, right ladies? I think I might have to hose myself down now........sigh

Mary Bryant revisted

I have watched Mary Bryant 5 times now and each time I watch it, I fall a little more in love with Will Bryant.

He had to be the strongest man in the world. He was married to a very strong and determined woman in Mary Bryant and they loved one another with a passion that knew no boundaries. He had to admit that without her tenacity and strength that he did not possess, they were able to survive insurmountable odds to stay alive. The fact that they made it for as long as they did is nearly a miracle. She in turn, never stopped believing in him. To watch him die is heartbreaking but Alex makes his death one of dignity and grace.

Alex, stole the film. He made Will Bryant a memorable character despite Mary being the focus of the film. Wonderful movie, go rent it, better yet go buy it. You will not regret it.

Personally, I think this is the most handsome that I have ever seen Alex. He was beautiful to look at in this film. Well, take a look for yourself. Would I lie to you?

Call Me Alex

Mick St John is a phone calling fool. He is on the phone a lot. He checks on Beth and Josef quite often. Wonder if he has a good plan? I bet he has lots of minutes. He probably has Beth, Josef, Guillermo, the Cleaner and Logan on his five friend plan!!

I love his screen saver. Not too many men have a red rose as a screen saver. He is in touch with his feminine side. I bet Josef makes fun of it. Josef probably has a centerfold model on his or a picture of his red Ferrari. Guillermo probably has a picture of the Red Cross emblem, and Logan has a picture of Darth Vadar. The Cleaner, probably a blow torch.

Some rumors are flying that the show may have life on another channel. Everybody that is out there, cross you fingers and toes and say a little prayer. We need our Moonlight back on.

So lets have a little Mick on the phone, maybe some phone sex would be fun? Hey it's the next best thing to being there. Call me Mick, I will listen!

A Moment I Stopped Breathing - The Turning

Back to Fated to Pretend. So we got to see Mick be human for a short amount of time. For him we were happy but we all knew that he is a vampire and he does it so well. I think secretly even Beth was glad that he didn't stay human. She sort of missed the "Jumpy Vampire Thing" that Mick could do, she actually said that.

It was the actual turning that was so spellbinding. Josef liked to refer to it as the returning and technically he was right but Alex loved to rub it in that Josef was his "daddy". We got to see the true friendship/love between Mick and Josef. The brotherhood that they shared and the love that they had for one another. Very sensual and very touching. Personally, I was as touched by this relationship as I was for MicBeth, maybe even more so because of this episode. Love may come and go but brotherhood stays forever, if it is true. They share their dark secret and it is eternal.

I sat there and literally stopped breathing during this amazing scene. I could not believe what I was seeing on the television screen. I may have even rubbed my eyes to make sure it was real if I wasn't so dumbfounded to remember. I sat there motionless for as long as that scene lasted; not breathing. I still look at that scene in awe, every time I re watch it. What brilliant writing and what a wonderful chemistry between two fine actors, they had you believing every single part of it.

Thank you Trevor, thank you writers, producers, and crew members and especially thank you Alex and Jason for taking my breath away. I will never, ever forget it.

The Return of Moonlight - Fated to Pretend

Oh I remember the first time I ever felt any angst about my beloved Moonlight. It was when the writers strike happened. All of a sudden there was a void in my week. Friday nights was my night to kick the hubby out, ignore the grand kids and shut down the phone for one hour and just be with my vampire and I recorded it so I could watch it again before I went to sleep. It was just a part of my weekly routine and then all of a sudden it was not there. I felt this pang of emptiness and a sense that I was being denied my one little piece of heaven. Then the ax started falling on some of the new shows and I started to worry. I held my breath. Then Moonlight won a Peoples Choice Award and YES!; they would have 4 new episodes to film with the end of the writers strike. A Peoples Choice Award, heck that would surely guarantee another season (wrong, so damn wrong! - but that is another story)

So finally the writers strike came to an end! I waited anxiously for April 17th, when they announced the newest episode would be aired. Wait, they moved it back to April 25th. OK, I can hold off for that long, besides they replayed The Mortal Cure on the 17th and caught us all up, so that was good, I got to see him on the boob tube again. I was just sitting there one night folding clothes and watching CSI when all of a sudden I heard a Moonlight promo and looked up to see Alex coming towards me on the beach, he was still a little battered from his run in with Lance but he was on the beach and obviously human. He was walking straight towards me! I held my breath and then he asked "Did you miss me?" I blurted out "Yes!" along with a sigh, and my husband looked up at me with the strangest look on his face. I realized then and there that I was hopelessly in love with this man. I had already googled him a thousand times and downloaded photos into an album. I read all I could find about him and joined the fan clubs but never did I realize how much I was hooked on him until that moment. My addiction was in full force by then. It has not let up to this day.

So on April 25th 2008 our darling Mick came back into our lives. I watched holding my breath through the entire episode of Fated To Pretend. I wanted him more than anything then. What the hell was wrong with me? I realized a few weeks later that I was only one of millions of women that felt the same exact way. CBS broke our hearts but not our spirits just a month after he came strolling down the beach looking like a God of all men. I will never in my life forget it.

We will get you back Mick St. John, but Alex will be around for a long long time.

I still relate this beach scene with the song Mercy, no truer statement could be made. We were begging him for mercy. What a man!!

Alex's Tramp Stamp - Mark of Perfection

OK, so I am doing two days of AOL's booty. It deserves to be honored for more than one post. As we have discussed (and dreamed about, and drooled over) he does have a superior backside. PAGA-Prime A Grade Ass. There is one way of always telling his sweet little tail from anyone else in the world and that is by his very prominent tramp stamp tattoo. When I was younger a guy tried to talk me into becoming a tattoo artist and I turned him down because I said I didn't want to tattoo some guy's smelly butt. Well, the guys I was thinking about didn't fall under the guidelines of Alex. I would have paid him to put a tattoo there!!!! I would love to know more of the story about his unusual and very ornate tramp stamp. Anyway, there is never any doubt who this fine tail belongs to. I go to sleep some nights just thinking about this branded backside. Who needs sheep?

Alex has one of the best looking behinds I have ever laid eyes on. I have always been an appreciator of the fine male derriere and Alex has the finest! It is not too small, not too big so that means it is just right for this Goldilocks. Mmmm Mmmmm Mmmmm! A fine couple of handfulls of pure joy! I love when the sides sort of dip in and catches the shadow and there is enough there to keep their low rider jeans from falling down around their knees. Taut and muscular with just the right amount of definition.

Hats Off to Alex - Trevor Munson on the radio

We have done almost all of his body parts but we will take a return trip to some of them and find others to explore when I find the right photos. The man is perfect in every way and I am sure that it won't be hard to do a re run of him soon. For today, we are working on his hats, guess that means we will have to travel back down his body. Not a bad trip, eh?

I got to talk to Trevor Munson on the phone today and I asked him the question I wanted to ask him. How close was Alex to the character that he created for the original book and did he have any say so on choosing him to play the part. His answer was very interesting. He had said that Alex was the first one to audition and Ron Koslow (Beauty and the Beast) told Trevor afterwards that he thought they had found Mick St. John. Trevor agreed but said that since he was the first one that he convinced Ron that they should finish the auditions. Ron agreed to that but he said he thought that Alex was their man. Trevor said that Alex was so convincing and eloquent in the audition that they were sold on him. As for if he looked like what Trevor had imagined him to, he said no. That when he wrote the book he had pictured a young Mickey Rourke but as Alex played the role and they adapted it to Alex. I am so glad for that, Mickey Rourke was really sexy in 9 1/2 Weeks but something really weird happened to him, so icksnay on the ourkesray!

Ewwww!

Anyway, Trevor Munson is a wonderful, kind man and I wish him much success in the future. He was hurt as much by CBS's faux pas, as the rest of the cast, crew and viewers.

Leapin" Vampires!!!

Alex is famous for doing a lot of his own stunts and he loves to do them. I am sure it is to the dismay of his directors and producers. When the star gets hurt then the show does not go on. He is so athletic and full of energy it is fun too watch though. OK, so he is fun to watch when he is just sitting in a chair. My most favorite thing to see him do is walk, I love how he walks. He sort of throws his feet out in front of him and pushes himself along with his knees. It is the most adorable strut I have ever seen before. I can barely stop squealing when they have him walking on screen. It doesn't last long as the boy moves very quickly. Well, he is a vampire, so vampires are very agile and graceful, he does it well.

Anyway today he is full of action. Let's just watch Alex do his "thang"! Love those long legs!

The Matinee Idol Chin

Does the fun of this man ever end?? He is just like an amusement park ride. You just hate to see it end so you keep getting back on and enjoying the ride over and over again. Boy! Was that a colorful statement! Eh?

Not only does he have the most gorgeous features on earth, he finishes off that drop dead gorgeous face with the classic matinee idol chin. Tess Trueheart herself couldn't have wished for a Dudley DoRight with a chin this perfect. Leeser from Moonlightline.com asked me to add this announcement to my blog. Many of you are frequent visitors to the site but for those of you that aren't I am asking you to take a few minutes to go to the site and put your vote into this survey.
Direct TV is very interested in knowing how many of you would be willing to pick up Direct TV if they decide to put it on their schedule. They have already picked up Friday Night Lights for their exclusive channel The 101 Direct TV.
They are already aware of the expansive fan base for Moonlight and are very interested at this time.
Now before you run over there and vote no that you would not sign up, that is your option for whatever reason, just consider this. If Moonlight is on TV, they are making new episodes. Alex's Eyebrows, You Knew They Were Coming Next

OK, this has been the grand tour of the eyes. We have reviewed those gorgeous eyes and the those hideously long lashes now we get to Alex's eyebrows. He has the most expressive eyebrows I have ever seen. Alex has the most amazing everything I have ever seen but the eyebrows are especially interesting because they tell a whole story all by themselves. This man was born to act, and I think the eyebrows are one of the biggest reasons. He can say more with a raise of an eyebrow than most actors can emote with an entire scripted scene. I love his furrowed brow, I hope he never gets any botox or has any kind of plastic surgery. These little lines are what makes him so adorable. Please Alex, don't let anybody talk you into any of that phony Hollywood cosmetic stuff. You are beautiful, just the way you are, furrows and all. We love you just the way you are.

Alex's Alluring Eyes - Oh My!

As you know, there are so many alluring and sexy parts to this man inside and out but they say that the eyes are the window to your soul and that statement could be no truer than in the case of our sweet Alex.
I cut down some of these pictures to just his eyes but to be honest, I have a hard time cropping up this gorgeous face. I would love to have a life size blow up of this man, just so I could look at all his body parts in perspective but alas for now I will settle for all the parts seperately. *sigh* We will take them how ever we can get them, right?

Open Hands - Open Heart

There is a lot to be said about that statement. It happens to have a merit in the study of psychology. A person who meets and greets you with open palms is a warm caring individual. They are open to relationships of all kinds. Friendships come easily to them. They tend to be honest and caring with a generous nature. They are trusting and confident.
It is one of the first things I noticed about him, believe it or not. He has the most long graceful fingers and hands and they are normally always open. Seldom do you ever see his fists clenched. Even if his hands are closed, they are not completely closed. This is the sign of a very caring, warm person with a giving nature. I also believe, although I have never confirmed it, that he can draw and paint if he allowed himself to. He already is a musician, and I know he reads and writes poetry. He is a true Renaissance man.
Ladies, we are not just looking at a good looking, well built, healthy fit man of body, but also of mind and spirit. Almost too good to be true. Will his assets ever stop adding up? I have a feeling that he will just get better with time.
So I dedicate today's photos to his hands and they just happen to be connected to the rest of this hunk's body so have a gaze at that too.

The Real Reason I Love Alex

OK, you know how much I love this man, as my regular visitors all do. He is so handsome and funny and talented. My good friend Moonie aka Marie found this link for me and it was just what I was looking for. Moonie, if you are reading this, job well done, listen to this.......THUD!!! You did it girlfriend!
I copied and pasted from this woman's original blog about her autistic daughter's encounter with this wonderful warm hearted man. He deserves all to accolades this world has to offer him. We may joke about all the physical attributes that Alex possesses but this is where if really counts. I have read other accounts of his attentiveness and openness. I pray that he never loses these qualities and I doubt that he ever will. God Bless this man and God blessed us the opportunity to love him. I have included the pictures of the actual encounter. Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy doesn't it?
The other two pictures are from other public appearances. He is always open, warm and friendly to the adoring fans but still can't figure out what all the fuss is about. Obviously, he hasn't looked in a mirror!!!
This is the real reason I love this man!

As soon as that bit of hoorah died down, as we were actually walking toward the door to leave the auditorium, Anthony Timpone came on the mic and announced that the panel for ‘Moonlight’ would be on shortly. Oh boy. How could we leave when Nella’s newest heartthrob, Mick, was going to be on stage???
This time she whole heartily agreed to sit down and listen. Let me tell ya, this was the most well behaved she’d been all day! And, when they came on stage, I was actually quite glad we stayed. They were the last panel for the convention and I was pretty worn out. So, had Nella not been so insistent to see her Mick, I’d probably have skipped it. Well, the group consisted of Alex O’Loughlin, Sophia Myles and Jason Dohring ~ the three main players on the show. Now, she sat pretty damn still, but I did have to keep her from charging the stage again! And, this time she knew all too well what she was doing ~ she wanted to be near Mick! And, dammit if my kid doesn’t have some great taste! But, to pacify her, I promised that when they were done, she could go up and say hi to him. And, when I could tell they were wrapping up, I walked us up near the stage and let her go the second they ended it.

Now, this is where it gets really cool. She ran up to the stage and just at that moment Alex turned around and saw her. He turned, smiled and said “Well, hello there”. You should have seen her ~ eyes all big and adoring! I quickly explained that she really loves the show and had wanted to say hi. Well, that was a wrap! Hearing this he held out his hand to her and pulled her on stage! She immediately held open her arms to hug him and then leaned in for a kiss! He seemed so genuinely pleased to have one so little so completely in awe of him that he happily hugged and kissed her right back! Of course, I was so shocked by it all that I didn’t have the stupid phone out! SO, he patiently waited so that I could get a picture of them together. Want a man, what a man, what a man! I should also add that Mr. O’Loughlin had been working on the show til 8:30 that morning ~ this was 6:30pm ~ so the man had had no sleep. But, what really killed me was that he was going to hang out with her LONGER, but she turned and walked away! He was crouched there with this huge grin, saying “What? That’s it? Where you going?”. I mean, out of all the really cool experiences we’d had, after all the really cool people we’d met ~ here he was, so pressed for time, yet pretty much said “fuck it all” and was gonna MAKE time for her! You just can’t get any cooler than that! So, as she was walking away I just shrugged and said “Eh, she’s fickle”. To that he smiled at me and said “She’s really cool is what she is! She is really cool”.

And, I’d be remiss if I didn’t also add how we nearly incited a riot amongst the women in the audience who also wanted a hug from the hunky star! It really was too funny ~ the handlers were trying to get them off stage and to the backstage area for the *paid* photos and hugs, and by holding him up, that held everybody up! It was utter chaos! All the fans from the audience kind of rushed the stage and the actors just went with it. Really, it was kinda cool to see how much they enjoyed the fans and didn’t really care about the business end of it all.

After Nella was done with her moment, Sophia Myles was suddenly in front of us having her photo taken. On a personal note here, I wanna be friends with her just so she’ll show me how to pose for pictures like that! The girl was ON. But, when she’d first walked out on stage I was really taken with her dress and yelled out to her that it was just gorgeous. Well, this super-cool chick stopped what she was doing to give me the designer’s name. She said to me “Check out her stuff. She’s really, really good and her cuts are perfect for women with, uh, real figures!”. Ya know, I loved her as the trampy-bitch in ‘Underworld’, love her as Beth on ‘Moonlight’, now would also like to hang out with the woman in real life! Hey Sophia, I’m new to town and could use a new bff! Ya know, I’m just sayin’......

But, in all seriousness ~ Alex, if you ever read this, know that you now have a life long fan! I really can’t begin to tell you how much the attention you paid my kid means to me! She’s so special, but also tends to be quite lonely. She really does spend so much of her daily life up in her own head and not in the world. So, making her the center of your attention the way that you did not only brought her out, but bolstered her confidence in ways that I just can’t articulate. And, that pretty much makes you a real life super hero in my book!

Well, it’s late and I should wrap this up. All in all, she had her picture taken with Alex O’Loughlin, Joe Pilato, John Gulager (Director of ‘Feast’ ~ who was really pressed for time, but was more than happy to pose for the pic and talk to her) and The Ice Cream Man from ‘Phantasm’, Reggie bannister (who also just gushed over her and was as cool as I remember him being from back in the day!)!!!! Such a cool, cool day that I will be kind of high over for weeks!

Missing him............so much

Do you ever get those days when you just miss Alex/Mick so much that it tears at your insides? I do, I know you must too. I have combed the internet looking for morsels of information about him. There is nothing there that I have not already seen or heard about.
Fortunately, he seems to keep his pants on and does not get drunk and do drugs which would cause him to crash cars or sleep with minors, or get into drunken brawls. So this means that he does not get his name mentioned in the tabloids. He only does things like work very hard, do public statement announcements for the American Red Cross blood drives and lays low. Everyone is working so hard behind the scenes to get out Moonlight back on the air for millions of viewers are waiting in anticipation for his triumphant return but these things take time. For all of those fans out there, give it time, it will be back, I just know that it will.
In the meantime let us pray that he gets bigger and better movie parts. He deserves to have leading roles and I am sure because of Moonlight this will happen. The movies that he has been in, he always seem to have such small and trivial roles. Must I remind you that Johnny Depp did the same thing. He got small insignificant roles in so many movies, then 21 Jump Street started and the roles got bigger and better and well you know the rest of the story. I expect that for Alex too. He has that character trait about him and he is going to be big!

Mary Bryant was a Lucky Woman

DAMN!

!!! He was so beautiful in this movie. I loved his character, he was a fisheman/smuggler and no convict ever looked this hot - ever!!! No doubt that those people on that boat STANK!! I wouldn't care, just to be near him stink and all, I would forget about it all, just to stare into those dreamy eyes. If you have not seen this mini series you need to. You might as well just buy it because if you Netflix it, you just won't want to turn it back in. I will not give anything away in case you haven't just remember, this is only a movie!!! I have to tell myself that everytime I watch it. Bring tissues and a good stiff drink to your couch, you will need both.
Again, he does the most spectacular acting in this film. He makes Will, strong, weak, soft and hard (get your mind out of the gutter - but since you asked yes there are some good scenes) He endures a lot as they all did. He does some heroic things in the name of love and honor.
Besides all that, it is a good historical account of Mary Bryant. You can see why our Aussie friends are as resiliant as they are. They survived a lot of hardship.
Good film and worth every minute of it. I love this dvd.
I think he is about as handsome in here as he is in Moonlight. Oh let's face it, the man is just perfect no matter what!!! Go watch it this weekend!!

Alex's Sexy Lowered Eyes

Alex as Mick or any other character he plays, has this way of lowering his eyes before he looks back up at you with this soulful, meaningful intense look. This man can say more with closed eyes than any other actor with their eyes open wide. He is a natural, plain and simple. Every move he makes, no matter how slight is a deliberate move to pull us in. Some can say it is learned in acting school and I can see that it may be refined through lessons but I say it is a natural ability to use what your momma gave you to get your point across. He has got "it". plain and simple.
It also might be because those gorgeous long curly eyelashes are just so hard to hold up. That has got to be quite the burden to tote those luscious long lashes around on a daily basis. I guess somebody had to do it, I guess he got picked. Wouldn't you just love to feel those lashes fluttering against your skin? Oh heaven must feel a lot like what I imagine this would feel like!
OK, so whether he is closing his eyes before he makes some dramatic statement to Beth about his fear of loving her, he is smelling a vampire is nearby, his precious heart has been broken, he is feeling intense, whatever his reason to close his beautiful soulful eyes. I love how he does it.
Let's face it, no matter what this man does, we are fascinated, mesmerized and forever in love with Alex. Enjoy your daily fix, I will be back tomorrow with more.

Hot for Alex - FEVER

I know we all have our favorite episodes from Moonlight and I have more than my share (well, like all of them) There are some parts of each show that I dearly love but one of my favorites is Fever. So many great parts in that show. He is so adorable and even when he is suffering he is gorgeous. I hated to see him suffer but we all knew he would survive in the end. I kept offering my neck to him while he was sitting in that bathtub with all the fake ice cubes, looking so adorable all wet and sexy. Oh one of the best parts is when he rips his shirt open and falls to his knees in that nasty bathroom. Wow, sexy and dramatic! Who woulda' thunk that we would give our eye teeth to be in that funky bathroom right then!
The line as he is getting ready to chomp down on Beth's arm "At some point you are going to have to stop me." was just so hot! I could hear him saying that during other times, ummmmm, maybe during sex??? Like I would ever tell him to stop, NOT!! Man alive he was going to town on her arm, you could see his adams apple moving up and down when he was gulping down her life blood.(Somebody, quick hand me a fan!!)
He showed his humanity and restraint and why we love our Mick St. John so much.

Alex in Feed

This may not be a movie you would like but then again it stars our adorable Alex so that makes it a little more appealing doesn't it? My God, he was gorgeous in it! I recommend that if you rent/buy this movie, watch the extras first. See how they made the movie, listen to the actors being interviewed. It will give you a better sense of the movie and make you feel a little easier about watching it. Seeing the fat suit being molded and watching our Alex being interviewed (he is just so damned cute!!) made me feel much more accepting of the movie. It was very hard at times to see this morbidly obese woman laying there like a lab experiment. It also made me not go to the kitchen for a cookie too!!

It is a pretty harsh movie about a pretty bizarre subject but over all the acting by our Alex is beyond brilliant. No one could make a demented character like Michael Carter understandable and even tolerated. I was less tolerant of the avenger and co-star Phillip the Aussie cop played by Pat Thompson. It was hard to tell which one was the good guy. Neither of them, but which one was better?
This is not a scary movie in the visual way as much as it is in a psychological way. It is one of those movies that makes you wonder about what is out there behind closed doors.

The actress that played Deidre has a fine comic sense of timing and believe me she would have to. It must have been torturous laying inside of that latex fat suit. Of course she had to lay there also while Alex pranced around in the nude. That would drive a normal red blooded Alex fan insane!!
Also they cleverly made Alex look very very young in this film. It was only made 3 years ago. They had to wax this man from stem to stern. He not only was bare chested, I do believe that this is the first time I have never seen him with a 5:00 shadow.

Well, I am being honest right now. I could say that the movie was fascinating, the lighting was unusual, the story line interesting but that would be mute for me. I love the chameleon thespian who shall be named Alex O'Loughlin, he is just amazingly real in any role he takes on, but to be honest here. I just love looking at this man. He is beautiful, whether he is long or short haired, blonde or brunette. Dressed or undressed, he is simply HOT. Honestly, I put this film on counter and fast forward to the scenes with him in it and ogle.

I can promise that you will never listen to Cherish, Yummy Yummy Yummy (I hated this song the day it came out and this just confirmed to me that I still hate it), and of course Isty Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka-Dot Bikini. I can never get that image of him shaking his booty and vamping out of my mind. Priceless!!

Alex in the Oyster Farmer

This is an adorable and delightful indy film from Australia. It is the first movie that Alex did and he was wonderful in it. The director of the film was a woman and leave it to a woman to find the most perfect actor for her film.

This is a must see movie, you will thoroughly enjoy it and the scenery is breathtaking, even the shots of the lovely outdoors *grin*. Anyway here is a little bit about the film and one of the reasons this man is so adorable. He is just that much of an Aussie bloke, he just happens to be incredibly talented also.
In the lead role of Jack Flange is Alex O’Lachlan*, a role which seems destined to mark him as Australia’s next big international star.
“When I looked around the set at the amazing actors I was working with – Jack
Thompson, Kerry Armstrong, Jim Norton, David Field – it sometimes didn’t’ feel quite
real. I feel very fortunate to have had the experience, every moment I listened intently and watched what they were doing. I had so much to learn and they were all so willing to teach….I felt blessed,” Alex says.
Alex related to the character of Jack Flange immediately, a character Anna describes as an ‘alpha male’ and a lot like the brothers she grew up with.
“Finding the right actor to play the leading man was surprisingly difficult…I guess
because a lot of guys like the one I was looking for don’t choose to become actors, they don’t go to drama school, so ultimately they don’t get to audition for you. But Australia is full of them – you go down to the beach and there’s all these gorgeous young men who could play Jack Flange but they probably couldn’t act their way out of a paper bag,” Anna says. “I had to find an actor who was convincing as a man Oyster Farmers would give a job to, he had to look like he’d done hard physical work. But I knew I would recognise the qualities when I found the right actor…….and Alex walked in. He was so keen and I knew he would have the courage to play the role and give it his all.”
Alex found many layers within Jack that he could identify with: “The script looks at what it is like to be a man in this society. Jack is an Aussie bloke, he’s a little bit ostentatious, a little bit obnoxious, a little bit cheeky, but he’s sensitive as well. Jack is really a city kid who ends up in the scrub for the first time in his life and, unexpectedly, finds a community and love,” Alex says.
Alex loved the experience of camping on the river with David Field before production
began: “We hired a boat, found a little beach somewhere up the river and rolled out our swags. We went fishing, ate fresh fish, talked about the script…..it was great. It is so peaceful on the river, the air is clean, there’s wildlife and trees. It has its own little subclimate and that has an interesting effect on you.”

Oh, I could have included a bunch of shots in here but I had to include the Boysenberry Ninja shot. So in case you were wondering about the weird headdress, if you have not seen the film you cannot appreciate the last shot as much. I laughed myself silly. Genius tactic but really really funny. I won't tell you anything thing more, you will just have to see it.
Do yourself a favor and rent this movie, or better yet just buy it. You will watch it over and over again.

Tantalizing Tongue Art - Oh Sweet Alex

Seriously, I had to make a folder with just pictures of Alex's tongue shots. I have so many photos that is was the only way to keep track of them. I had a hard time narrowing them down to 5. I could do an entire blog of nothing but tongue shots. Whether it's done on purpose or he is just concentrating or anything in between, he has his tongue out nearly as much as it is in. Personally, I think this is a GOOD thing.
I tend to do have this habit too. They say that it is a sign of a very creative person, well if that is the case this guy is Picasso, Mozart, Shakespere and Einstein all rolled up into one beautiful package. He is the master of tongue art.
Let us salute this gorgeous tongue today, and try to keep your mind out of the gutter if you can. Ooooops, Mine is already there.

Since you don't come here to read words, I will keep it short. Alex's body parts are beyond description and each individual thing about him is well for a lack of a better word.........simply breathtaking. Yesterday in one of the many articles that I have read about this man and the show Moonlight, someone mentioned that the fans are the nuttiest. I have to agree, but there is nothing wrong with that. This man will drive you insane! I digress, the writer compared the love of Moonlight and Alex with Beatlemania! Having lived through and surviving the original Beatlemania, I am going to have to agree with him. I can remember those days of sitting and staring at those mop top boys from across the pond. My heart would flutter every time their names were mentioned. I bought every song they recorded, every magazine they were in watched every TV show they were on and watched their movies over and over again. This is exactly how I feel again except.........45 years later. OK, maybe Alex beats out the Beatles, I should have more sense now than I did back then at the age of 13/14. I have totally and officially deemed myself as certifiably crazy over this man. Guilty as charged. Enjoy his beautiful face ladies, he does not have a bad side or year. Oh and the first one; Cotton NEVER looked so appealing, did it? Makes me want to go out and buy some new white cotton sheets. Too bad he doesn't come with them. hehehehe

So I mentioned Abs to go along with his adorable pecs. He has got the abs. Washboard solid abs that ripple when he walks. This man is put together better than anything else I can think of. The first time I saw this man without his shirt on I gasped for air. How can any man be so perfectly put together? I know there are some of you out there that don't like a lot of fur, well I am not one of them. I am not crazy about fur growing out of their backs and shoulders but furry chests, well I am in heaven. Can you imagine the girl that got the job of waxing him for his role in Feed? This boy is hairy and that had to be one heck of a job. I would have volunteered! Anyway girls feast your eyes on the best pecs in town. OK I know, it has been 3 days now and we have not left his mouth yet. You have to admit it is a pretty nice area. He has so many but his mouth is exceptional. I love to see him smile. He is so genuine when he smiles. I was talking to a friend of his last night on line and she was mentioning how humble he is. She has great stories about her meetings with him and in everyone of them she mentions how down to earth he is. What you see is what you get. He just can't imagine what all the fuss is about. He hates to see pictures of himself and he never watches himself on film. I would imagine that would be hard. Even though he looks like this, we have to remember, he has been looking at this face his whole life. That's OK, it won't stop us from staring. So here is to Alex and his beautiful warm smile.

The Alex Poochy Pout - those lips!

OK I have talked about his grin and even when he is not grinning he has this certain pout that he does with his mouth that is just amazing. He has full lips and what makes it even better it the way the bottom lip sort of comes out in a natural pout when he isn't smiling. I think it has something to do with that wonderful chin, but that is another day and another 5 photos!

Alex has this devilish grin that he flashes all the time. You know he has something ornery on his agenda. It isn't quite a smile and after this look he is liable to do or say some outlandish "Aussie bloke" thing. I just love his mischievous grin! It goes so well with the rest of his perfect little old self!

Mick St. John has brought back the mullet. Thankfully! For all the damage that Billy Ray Cyrus did to it, Mick St. John brought it back with all the dignity and refinement that this hairstyle deserves. He has the perfect hair for a mullet. It is wavy and thick in the back and looks great when he is running, leaping, jumping and doing all those other sexy vampire moves that he does so well. Let's face it, a short jock haircut just doesn't look as good as a flowing mullet when you are cruising down Sunset Blvd in your vintage Mercedes convertible. Remember perpetual coolness is the vampire's curse. So is the perpetual mullet. So today we salute Mick's mullet and those wonderful sideburns, let's not forget the sexy sideburns, quite the compliment to the revival of the mullet.
Oh by the way, the last photo with a blond mullet is from Feed, just to prove that Alex was a mullet fan long before Moonlight. Long live the mullet!

Alex is always touching his face or using his hands in an expressive way. I am not sure what causes this. I do the same thing, constantly touching my chin and cheek area and my hands seem to always be up around my face when I am talking. He has these long graceful fingers and expressive hands. I am thinking that he has the ability to draw and create with those hands. A salute to Alex's hands today. I thank God everyday that we get to admire Alex and his parts! Have a great weekend.

I think that the thing that sets Alex apart from other men is his expressive face and eyes. He can look so different from on shot to the other and yet maintains that "look" that women swoon over. I have tried to capture him so many times but so far I think this is the best one. I will continue to try. Hey, I have to suffer for my art!! Hehehe!
